Description
In 1935 a proclamation by the Governor of Georgia made the North American Brown Thrasher the state bird. The thrasher is a beautiful brownish bird with dark streaking on their white underbellies and bright-yellow eyes. They are usually ground foragers but I guess this one wanted a birds eye view! This photograph was taken in Augusta, Georgia.
