Description
Google "Statesboro Blues" or love southern rock and the first thing you think about is the Allman Brothers Band and Georgia. The Allman Brothers made the song famous and others like Chris Smither, Taj Mahal and Pat Travers have covered the song but Blind Willie McTell from Thomson, Georgia wrote the song and recorded it in 1928 many years before it became a hit.

The songwriter is often overlooked and all credit given to those that record the music. Great capture and story line.
