The corporate ladder is hard to climb, even for turtles! The yellow-bellied slider and its cousin the pond slider are native to the southeastern United States. The can be found in a wide variety of habitats, including rivers, swamps, marshes, wetlands, and permanent ponds. They are also popular as pets. These guys were photographed at the Brick Pond Park in North Augusta, South Carolina.
My journey with photography started out as a hobby and grew into a passion and maybe even an obsession. I tend to gravitate toward themes involving cars, music and nature but photograph a wide variety of subjects because I think you can find beauty and inspiration in everything.
